Las Animas
Cimarron County’s Sage Vincent traveled first to Las Animas, and into a cold high wind on May 3.
She ran 21.9 on the barrels with the winning team racking up a 17.; she was 15th out of 25. On dally ribbon roping she had a time of 21.5, second out of 18. She had no time on goat tying, and a time of 59:14 on the trail ride, ninth out of 15, the winner had a time of 32:727.
On Sunday the fourth, she was 20.7, 14th out of 25, the winner was 17.8. On dally roping she had a time of 16.8, third out of 18 with the winning time at 11.66. She had a time of 14.8 in goat tying, eighth out of 23; winning time 10.3. She got no time in pole bending and a time of 59.7 on the trail, tenth out of 14 with a winning time of 30.9.
Springfield
She traveled to Springfield for the first of the Cactus Playdays. We had wind, rain and hail.
She is riding Dolly until Sandman recovers from a foot injury.
Lamar
On May 11, Sage rode at Lamar, barrels, 19.6, the winner was 18.1.On Dally roping, Sage and Raquel Fazzion were second with a time of 17.9, the winners were 14.3. On goats she was ninth out of 16 with a time of time of 18.4, the winner, 9.7. On poles she was 31.2, the winners were 21.5. She had a good ride on the trail and is still riding Dolly until Sandman recovers.
