Good hunch nets marijuana and black tar heroin? How about amending this post? The stuff turned out to be not black tar heroin but hashish, a marijuana product. Rayannen is a devoted public advocate for change and serves on local government. This blog article states that she was caught with HEROIN which is a false statement. Congrats on your “Good hunch” as it seriously darkened Rayannen’s chances of being her career in environment law. Nice “Good hunch.” NO HEROIN INVOLVED JUST MARIJUANA

Bureau of Land Management on Rampage to Destroy Famous Wild Horse Herd
For Immediate Release August 10, 2009

Cloud and the wild horses of Montana’s PryorMountains are world famous but fame it appears is not going to protect the herd from a drastic government round up planned to begin September 1st in their spectacular wilderness home.

There are currently only 190 wild horses (one year and older) living in the PryorMountains. The BLM plans to remove 70 of them, plus foals. According to the foremost equine geneticist, Dr. Gus Cothran, 150-200 adult horses are needed in the herd to ensure their genetic diversity, which is vital to their long term survival.

These 70 horses would be placed in jeopardy. Any horses over 10 years of age can be bought directly by killer buyers and transported over the Northern border to Canadian slaughterhouses or south into Mexico. Younger horses not adopted would be put into government holding with 33,000 others that the BLM has removed from the wild and has proposed killing because they can no longer afford to feed them.

BLM cites poor range condition as the reason to remove the horses but abundant snow and rain for the past two and a half years has produced wonderful range conditions according to all who have visited Cloud and his herd. The Agency is not listening to anyone. They want this herd gutted. Nearly all the mares returned to the range would be given an experimental two-year infertility drug, PZP-22.

This helicopter round up is just one among many that the BLM is trying to complete, perhaps before the Obama Administration can catch up with what is going on.

The PryorMountain wild horses are descendants of the Lewis and Clark horses who were stolen by the Crow Indians in the early 1800’s. They can be traced further back to the horses brought over with the Spanish Conquistadors in 1500 making them one of the most Spanish of all wild horse herds in North America.

Pinon Canyon is an “Atrocity?” Trying to pay money to private landowners to provide realistic training to Soldiers is an “Atrocity?” What else would you call an atrocity? Giving Soldiers ammunition to practice their marksmanship before deployment an “atrocity?” Wasting money to help their wives and children while their husbands are deployed to some hellhole is probably an “atrocity” also.
Residents near Pinon Canyon (entirely in Las Animas county, not one acre of the current or proposed expansion is in Baca county) are subject to the home-owners-association from hell. They never joined, but their neighbors from all over (even Idaho) are willing to tell them exactly what the can and cant do w/ their land. I own land in that region, and I wish I could sell my land-but my “neighbors” have decided, autocratically, what is permitted and what is not.

The Transformation EIS Record of Decision released in 2007 had nothing to do with the expansion of Pinon Canyon. It was an environmentsl study required for the additional troops that are coming to Fort Carson and the increased training that will take place on the current PCMS. Once the Army clears the way to move forward on a potential expansion of the site by 100,000 acres, another EIS will need to be done – the first step in a possible expansion. What’s so hard to undertand?

Miss Bentley isn’t very intelligent for acting as she did with the officers. She has a drug problem wether she is into the environment or not! Not to mention other issues she most likely has. The comments here seem very biased, no matter the cause she was a jointly guilty acting party in all this!
