In spite of heroic efforts by a few Cimarron County citizens and city and county officials, the horse above died on Thursday from starvation, and the pair below were siezed by county and city officers at the same site in South Boise City. Cimarron County Sheriff Keith Borth said animal cruelty charges would be filed. The animals’ owner was identified by Borth as being Jose Angel Rodriguez.
