Little League Sign-up 

 Dale Harper, of the Boise City Rotary Club has announced the sign-up for the summer Little League baseball season.
Harper encourages young men and women, ages 9-12 to pick up a sign-up form at the Boise City elementary school.

For those interested in joining a team in Keyes, Nathan Cobb should be contacted. The sign-up sheets are due on April 30, and teams will be drawn on May 1, with the first game on Tuesday, May 27.
Harper also said that there are plenty of openings for businesses wanting to sponsor a team for the 2008 season.

 

On Tuesday, April 1, crews from Tri County Electric Cooperative were installing new lights, cross arms, poles, wiring and controls at the Rotary Little League Baseball field. The Boise City Rotary Club purchased new light fixtures with assistance of a grant from Rotary District 5690.  Tri County volunteered to complete the installation and wiring, and provide all the necessary components.  The Boise City Rotary Cub thanks Tri County Electric Cooperative for their assistance and generous donation to the community, especially Roy Smotherman and Ray Damron.
