Cimarron County’s Little Britches competitor, Sage Vincent, has qualified for the National Little Britches Finals to be broadcast on RFTD TV, (channel 33 on PTSI) from July 28 to Aug. 2 in Pueblo, Colo. her competition number to watch for will be 6479. she will compete in five events.
Sage has been busy since mid-May, competing and gathering points to qualify.
On May 22, she rode at Alamosa, Colo.
She placed eighth place in trail course, barrels and goat tying, racking up 43 points toward the finals in July. She placed fourth in dalley ribbon roping, and another 40 points.
She next rode at Dodge City, Kan., two rodeos on Sunday and another on Monday. She placed seventh and earned 12 points on the trail course, and placed eighth in goat tying tenth in barrels and seventh in poles, and earning 11 points.
On Sunday, she picked up 32 points with a fifth place finish on the trail course, and 42 points with a fourth place in goat tying and a third place in dally roping which brought 50 points.
On Monday she placed first in goat tying and collected 73 points, sixth in poles and another 24 points, and 22 points each for placing sixth in poles and dally roping. She placed third all-around with a total of 170 points
On May 31, she rode in Springfield, Colo.., in the Cactus Kids Playdays.
She won barrels with a time of 19.10; she placed third in goat tying, and sixth in trail course.
June 6-8 she rode in Southfork, Colo. she placed fifth in dally roping, tenth in barrels and fifth in poles.
She gathered 28 points for barrels, 26 for goat tying, and 22 for poles.
