I would like to take a moment and thank everyone who has supported us during Cesar’s illness.
July 4th will be six months since he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. It has been a long six months and we still have three years to go but it seems that each month gets easier especially with all the support and love that has been expressed to us by family, friends, and the community. I am grateful to live in a community where people care about each other and are willing to lend a hand any time it is needed. I never had to ask for help, it was just generously given to my family. I don’t have the words to express how grateful I am to everyone. All I can say is thank you very much for all the support it is greatly appreciated. I would especially like to thank the 4th grade class and all the staff at the Boise City Elementary, the Cimarron Memorial Clinic and Mark Peebles for their quick interventions to get Cesar the care he needed when he was diagnosed. Also to Modern Woodsmen of America, Gayler Chuckwagon, the Quilt Club, Catholic Youth Group, Thrivent of Lutherans, Connie Belford, Jean Munsch and Kim Mizer. To the Boise City News for following Cesar’s story and keeping the community updated. And to everyone who contributed in any way to help our family. We are very grateful for all the help.
