Camelot Theater

This week I had the opportunity to speak with Pam Sheldon, who is running the youth programs at the Camelot Theater here in Boise City. It was an interesting conversation about what is and will be taking place.

The point in this is reaching children and teens by running a Christian Facility. They no longer consider themselves as a theater but they do show some Godly movies to the teens. They may consider going back to being a theater again when the Hollywood media changes by making movies that are good.

The plans for the Camelot are every week there will be live music, a movie, a speaker, snacks and drinks. They are looking to get some arcade games in there as well. They also want to do it every Saturday night, possibly at 7 p.m. They will skip the next two weeks and try to start back up every week.

The band that will be playing is called Already Taken which consists of Cayle Cochran, Drew and Josh Faulkner, and Ross Mayfield.

When I asked Mrs. Sheldon what would be needed she said Giant booming drums so anyone who has any really loud kind of bongo looking drums to spare please get in touch with Pam. They also need help to just get the word out. So help all you can by telling all your friends.

When you go be sure to thank them for all the work they are doing for our teens and children in our community. All guests are welcome to join the fun with the Boise City kids and youth ministers.

This past week was so much fun listening to the band, watching the movie, and hanging out with friends. I am looking forward to next time. Tell anyone from fifth grade to seniors to come join us for a fun evening.
